Mortgage Business Plans

While our policy and procedure plans are, in fact, franchise level business plans, many investors, agencies and regulators want to see the business plans of new applicants.  The basic elements of a business plan are:

• Company Objective - why you are in business, what your high level principal goals are
  
• Methodology - how are you going to achieve these goals; what software you need, which investors you will use
• Your Business Model - are originating directly, via mail, internet, calling?  You need to rationalize why you will be successful where others fail. 
• Financial Projections - an important step in honestly assessing feasibility of your model.  Closely examine your past performance.  Use this to build you model going forward. Don't guess.  Use facts.
